When leaving my car with a mechanic - take the garage door opener with me!
To be fair I expected it back this evening. Not to be. Not only have they not managed to identify the source of the 'ignition' problem (all diagnostics come back clean -it's starting the engines - just not returning this information to the display/controls) in trying to find the source they've managed to make it worse - from consistantly 'starting' every 2nd try to currently 'starting' every 5th try.
[sigh] At least I have a hire car this time. And it's the Toyota service center, so they're actually trained & certified on the Prius. I know exactly how they feel - it must be just like trying to find a scripting bug :-/

Spent a long day up to my eyeballs in code. Too much to do at home this evening as well - don't know if I'll get through it all. It's nearly half-past-7 and I'm only up to cooking dinner.
