As an indication of the current crisp state of Chch - I had to de-ice my car before going to the party tonight. De-icing when leaving a party isn't unusual this time of year...
However the insulation is proving worth every dollar and the house is relatively cosy, despite the car displaying -2degC out, and that's probably on the optimistic side.
