Great web design job for me [edit: removed non-functioning link]
Except for this little bit:
"Should you reach interview stage, you will need to demonstrate the ability to quickly sketch out, on paper, a design and its major points."
There's reason I follow the "you draw it, I'll code it" philosophy. Actually, "quickly" is the hardest part of that (also understandable by the client). I can mockup a design given an hour or two.
If I ever wind up running my own web design company it will have to be in partnership with someone who can do the graphic design thing.

Date: 2006-12-10 11:31 pm (UTC)From:Rereading it now I see they are in fact looking for a graphic designer with coding experience rather than the other way around, which puts me out of the running altogether :( I get the impression they would give you a client brief at the interview and see what you made of it.
I enjoy the design aspects, but I'm much better at making things functional than I am at making them pretty.
