When one welcomes a 25 minute telephone survey for the conversation and human contact, one needs to get out of the house.

(I always feel a bit sorry for them, getting me. I'm usually happy to take the time, but I pay so little attention to brands and advertising that I usually have to pass on most of the questions. Tonight's was on mobile phones. I have one. It works. I don't intend to replace it until I have to. I pay absolutely no attention to what other phones are out there.)

Achieving this 'getting out of the house' by going to the supermarket is likely a) sad and b) rather pointless. Except that I do need groceries.

Racky is agitated. He caught ginger tom coming in the catdoor again (nasty surprise for ginger tom. Not as nasty as he might have recieved - I was in the lounge on the phone and saw him coming in as well but Racky got there first).

It's often my last best hope for human contact.
