Gaming last night had it's moments, including an ogre taken out by a daze spell, the mage/cleric almost being pushed off the edge of the cliff and the PCs successfully negotiating with a group of bugbears to avoid a fight (aided by a Charm Person spell).
And Cake. Far far too rich chocolate mud cake, in honour of S.'s birthday.
Someone left an umbrella in the back of my car. Matthew is it yours?

My insurance premiums have dropped as the next stage of my no-claims discount kicks in. Yay! Also - NZ Post returned to sender a correctly addressed letter from the insurance company, WTF?! From a comment the receptionist made it may not be an isolated occurance recently.
That's as random as me getting a letter addressed to the same number over on English Street (last month). Although that can be put down to human error I'm sure.

My other grandmother is in hospital. She's been falling over a lot and tore her ear (probably the one she can still hear out of) last night. While she's in they're going to run some scans to see if they can figure out why she keeps falling over.
