So, winter has finally reared it's head. There was icing visible on the Port Hills as I drove home yesterday afternoon. The radio tells me that the frost last night was "black", and to be careful driving. My air-conditioned office was lovely and warm when I got to work ;p
Gaming last night was no more serious than last week, but more enjoyable for some reason. I can see the player dynamic in this game being very interesting, as myself and
codym are the two dominants, about equal. However while I'm the one supposedly playing an erratic character he is the one having trouble focusing on the game.
By taking charge of the first situation we were in (which was a continuation of where we left things at the end of the previous session) I seem to have become the default group leader. This wasn't the intention, merely I'd slept those goblins and I claimed the right to decide what was done with them. (This resulted in some information, a well fertilised but half-felled oak tree, and the sole survivor when released fleeing as fast as he could, pantsless).
My impatience with the progress (or lack thereof) of the game also led to my taking charge of other situations. I also seem to be the person at the table most familiar with the system, which surprised me (although thinking about it, it possibly shouldn't have). The DM knows where to look things up though, which is good.
The druid has some obsession with explosives, which explains how she knows my character (Alchemists fire). She is also close to losing her Druid abilities after referring to the animal-friendshipped weasels as "live wiggling bait...oops".
Gaming tonight should be interesting. The PCs are probably being cut loose in the big, big city. I doubt it'll take them too long to get into trouble. Or they might just leave again immediatly, since they do have somewhere else they want to be.

*Except for that time when Aether attempted to take on half a dozen thugs in a alley in an attempt to save a cat. That probably counts.

Erm, yes that was rather silly of me. Would you believe me if I said I wanted to save the cat because it reminded me of you?
