Dig compost into back rose garden
Strip Ivy out of front garden. Avoid being speared on the reinforcing rods from one of the old concrete posts, which hasn't been removed properly. Will have to talk to builder about that...
Dig grass out of front garden around roses. Replace with compost and dig in. Remove old very dead bush from front of house. Hope the fern which was co-rooted with it survives.
Lunch, 3pm
Mow clothsline lawn, hang out laundry, mow rest of lawns
Accumulate pile of landfill - scrap metal, concrete blocks - from around property to one vicinity
Much needed shower, 5pm
Take photos of new fence
Leave rest for tomorrow, weather permitting
Wash car
Dig out garden behind garage
Replant back roses
Dig out far back garden
Mow back lawns again, on a lower setting.
Repot kitchen plants
