These mornings...
Jun. 9th, 2014 10:55 am... when intellectual me lacks the control to stay out of bed after turning off the alarm, even to get out of bed with the later "take your pills" alarm are some of the most frustrating times. And this frustration just makes emotional me want even more to just curl up in the warmth and comfort and not step out to deal with the world.
But it is not emotional me which is responsible for the initial state because sometimes intellectual me and emotional me join forces to overcome it earlier rather than later. So I name it the slough.
[from my Little Oxford:]
In hope that in defining it I will be able to more easily overcome it.

slough n. swamp, miry place.
Slough of Despond state of hopeless depression.
In hope that in defining it I will be able to more easily overcome it.
