Apparently the location of the first party isn't a big secret until the first meeting this year. On account of it's just been announced on the partylist.

So yes, my big news is that the Dictator applied enough grease to make me change my mind about never holding a party again ( see this rant ). I don't think attendance should be a problem at this one. And I'm only putting minimal effort towards setup and cleanup.

Although if as has happened in the past Carolyn is the only one to turn up for cleanup I will be cornering the other members of the politburo and anyone else I deem appropriate and issuing a stern talking to.

MArsden - in a bad mood for the forseeable future. Not related to the party thing.

The location has never been a big secret in the past, though the actual address isn't given out until the meeting.

Depends on who you are, I guess.

I'd like to forestall the stern telling off and just advise you that due to my unfortunate need to work 9am to 6pm on Saturday, I'll be unable to attend cleanup the next day. I will, however, be there for setup. Apologies in advance - Vizier :)

Work is a valid excuse. Consider yourself excused from attending ;)

I'm not saying that I expect all the politburo members to turn up and help out - nor am I saying that I expect everyone (or anyone) who turns up to be politburo.

But if there isn't a clean-up crew it's the politburo I will hold responsible.
