AKA trying to clear out all the stuff from the weekend and get my brain into work mode.

The week-end was not really - even though I tried to have a low-impact day on Saturday.

The party on Friday meant a late night just as my body-clock was getting itself sorted out again, and sad to say was pretty unexciting for me. I had also pushed myself well into the "don't wanna" zone at the end of Friday to clear my work task list and have a clear run at an increasingly urgent project this week (which is why I desperately need my head to clear now).

Saturday ... I think I spent much of the day just sitting staring at the computer. Starting to feel chained to this thing. A little pottering around the house has a few things put back into place - like the fire alarms. Also had a temporary flatmate + furbabies moving in - a process which didn't go entirely smoothly or to schedule for them. Did get the gallery of the previous night done.

Saturday night was the Slave Auction. The gallery for that is nagging at me but I have assigned it to be tonights task. I quite enjoyed the evening although I am today feeling the after-effects of dancing through the unholy trinity plus one (just lucky that one wasn't Go Bang). As ever those has kicked in not the next day but the day after.
Spent about as much money as I had budgeted, not exactly on who/what I'd planned/hoped to acquire, plus creatively acquired a bit extra. Kind of needed the blowout, had been saving a little for this, now back to my usual frugal self.
Had a couple of close encounters with wangst, managed to pull up rather than crashing.
Then a 2pm #AH alarm while I was only a block away between taxi runs - caught 3 explorers in one on the motel rooms but they ran (#shortversion) - put my getting home back about an hour.

I got about 4 hours sleep plus maybe 40 minutes dozing/weird dreaming but I had to be at #AH by 10am (was a little late but it didn't matter). There were several groups scheduled to visit / make use of the Hall over the course of the day, most made it, some were more organised than others.
The wind alternated between freezing cold and quite pleasant. Most of the day I spent waiting for people to show up or lurking in the background while they did their thing, but the end of the day I was barely staying awake/holding it together. Managed to close up and get away shortly after 6pm. Very grateful to the other volunteers who really took over later in the afternoon. We did get some areas nicely cleaned up and a donated broom out of the day.

Sunday was supposed to reduce the amount of active projects/enquiries in my #AH mailbox to something which felt manageable but with a couple that came in yesterday I still have 10 marked as active.

Came home, ate a little, had a shower, went to bed about 7:30/8pm. Stayed in bed until bbout 9am this morning. Still feel exhausted.
