I typed most of this up telling a friend about my night, might as well preserve it here :)

Stopped by #AH on the way home from the drinkies to do a walkabout. Intercepted two sets of people going over or through the fence so far. Just sitting in car near the free wifi keeping a look out for a while.

So just before I left ... Naked couple sprinting along Riccarton road.
(Yes she was, him I'm no judge and besides according to the screen it was literally freezing point out there. People be crazy.)

So the first lot last night - I'd just finished walking all around the outside and was heading back down the driveway when I saw a group of 5 out front and two of them were in the process of climbing the fence. So I put the torch on them and yelled out something like "Hey! No thanks guys" and the two that were climbing bolted down the road and the others laughed and kept ambling in the same direction.
Then I went back around the property in case they had just come in at the other end and to kill some time, and came back out and kept an eye on another group which had started to cross the road to the AH side, about halfway along, and I'm pretty sure they saw me and if they were thinking about exploring had second thoughts, then another couple crossed the road at the far end and went in through the gap in the gates.
So I went down and pulled them up, and they were just taking a leak (and quite embarrassed), but wanted to ask questions about the place which I was happy to chat about for a while.

Then I waited until B came by on his way home, and there hadn't been any other activity and it was very cold and quite late so there probably wasn't going to be, so we called it a night.
There weren't any later alarms so by letting myself sleep in I have now had two good nights sleep in a row.
