So I'm writing this at Minicon while waiting for critical mass for another board game. Hey, I have a stack of free data on this T-Stick left to use up before it expires.

The last few weeks have been insanely busy workwise, which is good for the bank balance but not so much for the brain. I pretty much flaked out on Thursday but got enough of a second wind to achieve all deadlines by end-of-day Friday. Next week is looking to be slightly less busy (touch wood) - after the week-of-many-hours leading up to the 48 I've regressed in the amount of work I can actually do per day before my brain turns to mush.
Also on Thursday I managed to turn up to SAGA for the 2nd week running, coming second in a game of Puerto Rico and winning two games of Citadels, which was nice.
My weekends are solidly booked with social events - 48 (been), minicon (happening), Dunedin party, SanCon. Which means I can firmly tell work I'm not available but also means my time is spoken for. I'm well behind on my reading and the household chores :(

[Gaming! Race for the Galaxy x2, Endeavour]
[Excursion to the Comics Compulsion BBQ]
[Return with stuff!]
Loot: Citadels, Race for the Galaxy, Thurn und Taxis . I will have to go back for Munchkin Booty, as I had less cash on me than I thought and I decided not to EFTPOS.
~~~
Continuing for much the same reason as before. Where is everybody? There are a whole 2, maybe 3 games worth of people here
~~~
My dining room continues to be a construction zone. I -think- the last of the sanding will happen next week. At the end of all this I will have to remove the furniture and CLEAN ALL THE THINGS in the dining room and kitchen because they are are imbued with ALL THE DUST (despite dust cloths). I've chosen and purchased tiles - more than I need but end-of-line, thus incredible cheap, and pretty much the colour I'd decided on.
~~~
Edit: Further gaming for the day included Stone Age, Thurn and Taxis, and Seven Wonders
