Was stung a bit on the price, but it was worth it to have it down today. Only a frew bricks were broken in the process, just to make putting it back up more difficult :(
So I no longer have an intact roof, here is hoping the weather stays fine because I don't have much faith in the tarp that's up there.

Calling EQC for an update tomorrow, but I also don't have much hope of seeing an assessor any time soon.

I'm exhausted. There are multiple reasons for this. I don't want to be.

Hope you rang the EQC before you got someone to take it down?
My parent's next door neighbour had her down from the original quake (and part of roof) and the tarp held up really well. EQC also got it fixed pretty quickly, too. Hopefully the same happens for you!

I've already got a claim in (it's been damaged but stable since the 1st quake, but Monday did for it), so I'll ring EQC today to update. No point dealing with the call centre more than absolutely necessary.
