So, Easter. What have I found to occupy myself with?
Spent most of Friday building a webpage. Was planning on continuing later in the weekend - never happened.
Friday night was invited to go see Star Trek: Nemesis. Was pleasantly suprised to find that the movie was not as bad as the trailers indicated. Not the worst of the set, anyway. Spent an hour after the movie talking, or more accurately, listening. This, unusually, left me dis-satisfied.
Saturday I travelled out to the country to see my family. Failed to solve the issues my sister's computer is having with her printer. Still working on that. Also picked my father's brains for financial advice since I have a significant sum of money coming due for investment and I want to go for something more adventurous (and higher return ;) ) than a term deposit.
Saturday night I stocked up on easter eggs in anticipation of a good turnout at the party. (I traditionally go around handing out marshmallow eggs at whatever party is on at easter). Turnout was considerably less than anticipated, never mind I can easily dispense the excess at roleplaying over the next few weeks.
Sunday I started doing stuff on the computer - which somehow became Civ II. Evil game! I did however get those pictures from my sister's 21st (which some may remember from my to-do list a while ago) processed. I did get out for a bit, to talk to Carrie's player about stuff, the outcome was not entirely satisfactory from my point of view but we'll see what can be done to keep this disparate group together. Or maybe not.
Monday has also been consumed by Civ II. But I did get out to do the grocery shopping, and I've just done the dishes. Occasionally progran crashes can be a good thing :)
