Roleplaying books $76.95 "City Works" supplement from Legends and Lairs, and a Champions supplement 2nd hand.
New Release KISS CD $34.95 Was unable to order CrüxShadows CDs today because the weekend staff weren't sure they could help and recommended I go back to talk to the main ordering guy on Monday.
RAM for the computer, more than doubling what it had, $109.
Taking the computer apart, installing RAM, getting it half back together, taking it apart again, replacing cable, putting it back together again, and watching it loop-reboot partway through Windows startup - almost not worth it.
I got it working again eventually - at least, it hasn't rebooted itself for almost two hours now. I've run a bunch of fixit utilities and tests. Apparently my profile was corrupted somehow. some shortcuts evaporated, but they've been replaced. I may have to re-install a few things.
The difference in startup speed is significant, as is the performance of Diablo II (the most memory-intensive program I run on this thing, except perhaps Windows itself ;) )
