Foiled!

Went out to cut up some firewood. Plugged in the extension cord. [snap!] went the PowerGuard. "Huh" said I and pressed the reset button. [snap!] went the PowerGuard again.

On closer examination some dirty cat (probably not Racky) has been in the garage and peed on the head of the extension cable (and the plastic bags underneath). Bugger.

Not being prepared to stick another cord into the PowerGuard until it's had a chance to dry out, I'm left hoping for another fine day tomorrow.

I'm sure Racky wouldn't do any such filthy thing; Racky is a cat of Great Dignity, after all :-)

At least you know the powerguard works :) Would be a v. un-classy way to be electrocuted, zapped by cat pee.
