Down with the sickness

I was hoping that as my symptoms were a day behind everyone elses that I had a mild case of the NY flu.

No such luck [sniffle]. Today is a good day for not doing very much at all. Maybe sit in the sun with a book. Although given that I got sunburnt on Wednesday, maybe not.

Gaming last night went reasonably well - I have now introduced three of the PC's Nemeses. This one was attempting to arrest Ember on behalf of the Egyptian authorities (or at least that was his line). According to Ember, something about a little accident in the library of Alexandria. The PCs had a lot more trouble dealing with him than I had anticipated, but in the end ganged up on him sufficiently that he turned invisible and fled. Everyone was more awake than last session and so the combat progressed in a suitably cinematic fashion.

Received an unexpected phone call from K. yesterday, had a good chat and a catch up. She doesn't usually initiate contact because her fiance doesn't approve for some reason :(
