I should drown my sorrows?

[Poll #840352]

On top of everything else, work politics have reared an ugly head.

:( Politics are horrible. Don't go sorrow drowning unless there's some sort of socialness involved as well though eh? *worries*

Drown them in what?

Yeah, work politics suck...

I have half a bottle of Schnappes in the fridge and another on a shelf, a bottle store a short drive away and a mortgage.

Sorry was a facetious question. To be honest, if you don't drink much you probably won't need the bottlestore to get 'em drowned very effectively, but I wouldn't recommend it. Drinking when you're feeling crappy already is never(very rarely) a good idea.

You don't know what my metabolism does with alcohol....

Yes I know, there was a reason it was a rhetorical question :)

Heh, you're getting a whole lot of replies for a rhetorical question :P

And lucky you, your liver must be in tip-top condition...

I'm not complaining. About the replies, anyway :-\

What are your sorrows?

I find that by and large, my sorrows are highly seaworthy.

Alcohol won't work, and you know it. Just take some time for yourself; switch off your cellphone, have a good meal and have some leisure time, like reading a book or whatever you enjoy.
Take some time to recharge and you'll be feeling better!
