Day o, a daaay o
Jan. 9th, 2008 09:35 pmMostly unremarkable day, except for an unexpectedly extra long long lunch break with good catchup and gossip session :D
Upon returning to the office found my brother unloading a truck out back. (He works for a freight company). Apparently we have a hellish drive to get into. (Straight, but narrow. Lucky there wasn't anyone in the near carparks).
Steering rod recall was finally completed (third time into the shop). Quote arrived for panelbeating - less than I expected but will take longer than I had hoped, so expect to be without car for best part of next week & following weekend. Cycling will be good for me.
Caught up on several days worth of RSS feeds.
Spent an hour this evening changing passwords for ykw...
Went for a walk around one of the many blocks one can do from here. Pondered property investment.
Updated LJ. Toying with the idea of a post-a-day challenge with the theme "what problem did I solve today?" (which will mostly be html/css/javascript/php/mysql stuff and would go in a different blog).
