Got home from work and Racky was having 'rear-end' issues. Called the vet and they helpfully offered to fit us in at 6:05 (closer to 6:40, but I wasn't complaining).
Racky managed to pass the immediate problem while we were waiting but the vet felt him up and confirmed there is more to come.
Poor cat is getting old, lower bowel is giving out. He's now on a ml/week of mild laxative. Also, sitting down to lick his very smelly arse every few minutes, but at least no longer constantly straining & leaking on the floor/furniture.
Vet nevertheless commented on what magnificent condition he is in for an 18-year old :D
[weight this visit: 6.23kg - still going down]
