Settlers: Revenge of the 7s

Played a couple of games of Settlers of Cataan at the SAGA BBQ, I have never seen so many 7s rolled in a Settlers game. Maybe the laws of probability are reasserting themselves or something.

Also played something called "Dominae"[???] which was quite entertaining and which I also managed to win.

KAOS Chch first meeting and party last night. Photos to come (batch resize in process). The meeting was well set up, but seemed to lose coherency about the point that the politburo had to start talking.

BBQ and party were well attended, met some interesting and promising first years, none of whom had become vomiting drunk by the time I left. Some people were going to be feelinga bit tender today though. Because of the early start I was home by 1am, but the party felt like a good event.

I'm trying to refrain from angsting about things that didn't happen :)
