Started with a job vacancy needing someone familiar with the New Zealand Web Guidelines. After a couple of hours reading through there (very good usability/accessibility section) I had a whole raft of tabs open to external references.

One of these sent me off on a slight tangent reading Life is for living on the Office for Disability Issues site.

Then on to the Web content accessibility guidelines and a variety of other accessibility sites. Signed up for some newsletters, feeds. Sure I probably should have found these months ago.

I have some touch-up work to do on some sites tomorrow morning.

After 8-ish hours filling my brain my stomach asserted it's right to attention and I was able to pull myself away from the computer. Prolonged the break with Antiques Roadshow and washing the dishes.

It's been a vaguely productive day. I'm finishing it off by sorting at least some of the bookmarks in my "new stuff" folder and elsewhere. The last time I did this Opera crashed and lost it all a few days later - had to recover from a backup.

[Edit] OK, so much for sorting out my links. Slightly sidetracked.... http://rinkworks.com/stupid/
