Petrol prices have gone up again. Only 1c rather than the usual three. Odd enough to comment on when I have no real reason to be updating except to occupy surplus brain function while reviewing music.
I have found an interesting project to occupy me at work. It's not something I've been asked to do but odds are good I will be sometime in the next year. It's a project I want. If I've made a good start I get to reinforce my reputation as a speedy worker.
Last night was interesting. Around the hardware geeking I found a feeling of acceptance in a place where the is usually tension. Unfortunately the mood was broken by external factors before I left :(
Tonight I had an uncommonly pleasant chat on the phone. This makes me happy :)
Wednesday I made the foolish mistake of reading the Candidate Directory which came with my voting papers for the local body elections. I got through the City and Regional councils OK, but my brain gave up halfway through the 29 candidates standing for the District Health Board.
Nuke them from orbit, it's the only way to be sure. Solves all those pesky environmental issues at the same time.
I'm sleepy. Crawling towards bed.
