Went to work for long enough to courier off a parcel which absolutely had to go today, stopped by the supermarket on my way home for a resupply of juice and food I can heat up in the microwave.
After 10 and the car thermo tells me it's still 3degrees outside. The fog is still pretty solid so it's quite possible, although it doesn't feel that cold. I'm going to relight the fire anyway.
Driving back into town the glowing orb which was the sun visible through the fog resembled nothing so much as a perfectly full moon on a slightly cloudy night.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think this tin of peaches may have started fermenting. Hmmm.
I think curling up in bed with LOTR amd catching up on my reading sounds like a good idea.
