Friday

ookey coming to my rescue with the cat-feeding, I picked up my passengers and headed south. The trip was uneventful, and the Prius performed supurbly, getting it's 20kms to the litre and no problems with the hills.
Dropped passengers, grabbed McDs, turned up to gaming tournament. Played in a really good game which involved much reality-switching. Afterwards went to KAOS drinkies, found out where I was staying, collapsed.
Saturday
Breakfasted, hung around until the afternoon for the "Dictatrix's Birthday Games" to start. Managed to fill my camera's memory card with photos. Fortunately Duncan was in posession of a computer to which I could dump them - now I just need to get a CD with that lot off him for my archives, since I cleared the card to get photos of the evening's party.
The party was pretty good. I was handicapped by having pulled something in my knee earlier in the day and so couldn't dance as much as I would have liked, but got a good number of photos. I dabbled at the Slave auction, and as a result now have _two_ dictators on deferred service ;-}
Sunday
Awoke, showered, snuck away from my billetplace, breakfasted, turned up to gaming. Played in another excellent game which was hindered slightly by a couple of other players feigning ignorance early on. Decided that the second session would run too late, so collected passenger and headed home earlier than planned. Passed and accident just the other side of Oamaru - a stock-trailer had overturned. just happened - the emergency services hadn't even arrived yet.There were injured cows lying in the ditch. Plenty yof people around - we passed on.
Got home about 9:30. The cat appears to be back t his usual self. Message on the phone from the vet - the tests came back clear, he doesn't have diabetes.
The kitchen is a mess. Guessredchristoph couldn't find time to attack the dishes before he left either. Some are probably over a week old. I'll try to deal with the worst tomorrow before I have to go.
