I feel as though I have been put through three different types of wringer already this week. And nothing particularly bad has happened. I'm probably worrying about too many people again.

Gaming wednesday wwas pretty good. The PCs saved me having to bluff my way through a poorly prepared plot piece (completely reworked by next session) by deciding to take a break in travel, and celebrate the new-years festival with some of that there magical alcohol they've been toting around. Some of the after-effects have yet to be fully noticed...
Between that and Curough going pig-hunting the party took more damage than they have in quite some time. (nearly-dead caitian)(two dead pigs).
Gaming Thursday was .. a bit intense. Armexis was responsible for sending of one of the other characters on an exploration which resulted in her death. (Ok, in game it was the characters own curiousity/stupidity that actually got her killed. Doesn't matter to him, he was still responsible). Now, he was going to have to deal with the death of one of his friends sooner or later, and I had a pretty good idea how it would go. But at this point we find out the hard way that we are in a Ghostwalk campaign, and she comes back as a ghost. Unheard of, as the effect has only just begun to manifest itself in the world.
AND EVERYBODY ELSE JUST ACCEPTS THIS AS COOL????!!!!!! OK, there were some comments about how we'd freak out about this, and maybe a few hours right near the beginning, but it's been 10 days game time and Armexis is the only one displaying any issues with the situation. Most of which he's internalising/drowning in alcohol. This has completely screwed him off the development track I wanted to follow, he's looking at an alignment change and levels of barbarian next, as combat provides a nice simple situation he knows how to handle and can throw himself into, rather than continuing on as a fighter.
I mean for [diety] sakes people, she's dead!! The body is over there -> . The blue spectre that is her soul is standing over there <- with ectoplasm leaking from the three crossbow holes in her torso. This is the stuff of horror stories! When people come back from the dead they're evil and malignant. Ok, we've decided that's not the case, but this still goes contrary to everything we've ever been taught about dieing. SOME questioning of beliefs is in order at the very least. But everyone, including the dead character, is just "meh"? I mean LOSE SOME FUCKING GRIP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

I've walked along this edge before. And I just missed a phone call because I always hit the "OK" button on my phone to answer and what that does on this phone is silence it and by the time I figure out what I've done it's too late.

redchristoph. What the fuck are they caling my phone for? I'm pretty sure the message currently on the answering machine at home specifically mentions "[marsden's] cellular". Fuckwits. He's my boarder, not my responsibility.
