Having decided I'm not going to get back to sleep I just took a walk around the block. Whereas when I stepped outside about 3am it was uncannily quiet, Xmas/NY morning quiet, now it's back to what I'd expect in background traffic, slightly more in the way of sirens.
Wildlife count: one cat, one hedgehog, one snail.
Looks like something might be on fire over Hornby way, but it's more likely just one of the industrial plants letting of steam.
I was already planning a cooked breakfast, my stomach suggests I start now.
The other thing I'm planning is to cycle around and visit a few people tomorrow. It's unlikely anyone is going to be visiting here just to socialise.
