Not helpful and ethically dubious: using NNc/100g on store-brand items and $N:NN/1kg on the equivalent name brand items.
It was the total incongruity between ~45c (Home Brand cornflakes) and ~$5.00 (Sanatarium cornflakes) that made me take a closer look.
