Virgin wool comes from really fast sheep

My loot tally is 3 doormats (for the patio) one instant kiwi winning $4 (ie 2 more scratchies), one dud and one lotto ticket (which I'll check later but you know the odds).
My plan for today is to research online and assemble a shopping list, execute surgical strikes on the appropriate sales, then turn up to the Boxing Day Battle with camera.

On gloomier notes the last two mornings have both been of the "don't want to have to get out of bed and face the day alone" variety, which is not a good sign going into what is supposed to be a recovery period. Both preceding nights have also had "security light comes on, snap alert listening to see if someone is coming up the driveway, collapse disappointed" moments.
The earthquakes don't bother me, except for instigating the occasional moment of bitterness.
