Icecream therapy is insufficient
Mar. 24th, 2009 08:19 pmToday was one of those days where one runs into people in the oddest places (most notable - my old line manager from Canesis in the USCA carpark) while having trouble matching schedules with the people you are trying to catch up with.
My latest chiropractic report was this morning (theoretically). my neck continues to improve but my lower spine has swung even further out of alignment than it was originally (which certainly explains why the sciatica symptoms have reappeared). That could be something I'm doing or it could just be what my spine needs to do to "unwind" - in which case it will correct itself eventually. On the positive side despite the alignment issue the nerves don't appear to be pinched as much as they were.
( scans for those enamoured of such things )
They also gave me a free self help book and because I looked so depressed (bored with waiting, and generally flat) they've booked me a free 15 minutes with the 'Neuro Linguistic Programming' coach who works in the same building. In truth I accepted only because I get a perverse pleasure out of wasting these peoples time, especially when someone has pressured me to make the appointment.
Oh, I'm sure she -meant- well. I should be grateful that someone cares.
