Net is running like a three legged dog on a unicycle

The paradise status page isn't showing any issues - after I make this post I'll do another reboot and see if that fixes the problem - if not it's call tech support time.

Weather conspired to prevent me mowing the lawns. I left work early and all - partly that was to find the (ex)landscapers office s I could pay them their due. Whe I finally found the place, wouldn't you know, there was nobody ther who could generate a proper receipt for me. I wasn't prepared to just hand over the cheque so I got them to stamp and sign the invoice. Done.

I also paid the power, communications and rates bills today. [sound of air rushing into bank account]

Gaming last night was supposed to start off with a quick intereactive dream sequence for each player - more fool me. Most took about 3x as long as I had anticipated. Live and learn, and the PCs now get to mull over in the backs of their minds what possible relevance the obviously related dreams have to current events. More pressing is how to deal with their refuge being surrounded by a hobgoblin army (at a respectful distance, but surrounded, and an army, nevertheless).
