There is a function for one of our most senior managers who is "retiring". I plan to attend for maybe half an hour before I have to scram to collect the cat before the vet closes.
I have 1/4 hour to kill. I can't be bothered starting anything, although I have a number of tasks to work on over the next week (for a change :) ).
It's a long weekend. I keep forgetting. As long as I remember on Monday and don't turn up to work I guess is the important thing.
Gaming last night was a series of short combats interspersed with some other stuff. Again I seem to be the one in the party making the decisions. I can't tell whether this is because the others just can't be bothered thinking of anything outside the killing and looting unless pushed or whether they're not willing to challenge my (as in me, not my character) suggestions for some reason. Either way it's disappointing.
I'm pretty sure a number of the arguments are a player dynamic. It hasn't reached the point where it's actively threatening the integrity of the game yet. At least this week there were no inter-campaign threats towards the player's characters in my game. There should _never_ be inter-campaign threats.
I am concerned about Tirana. She doesn't seem to be getting a fair share of the screen time in ways that would play to her nominal strengths. Armexis is gettng no shortage of combat, even if he isn't racking up many kills.
I did put in the level of Swashbuckler.
Time killed. More later, maybe.
