Item the first: I have been asked to host the Alien ball, hopefully sometime later this month. Yay!!
Item the second: It has just been announced to the staff at my workplace that we are undergoing a name, structural, image and focus change at the end of June (financial year). This will include the consolidation of various subsidiaries (some international) back under one name. This gives a month and a half to have a new website incorporating all the information from the subsidiary websites designed and built, along with the various stub websites to remain at the old addresses.
This is important to me because one of my responsibilities is the maintenance of the company websites. I'm not technically responsible for thier actual existance, but I have a certain amount of professional pride involved.
Marsden's going to be a busy boy - or a very frustrated one - for the next couple of months.

Most of the grunt work may be outsourced (though I want to be closely involved - don't want to have to rebuild this one from scratch). The actual design will have to be - I don't have those skills in sufficient quantity.

Admittedly I'm about as likely to be married before I'm 30 as I am to get to the Alien Ball (regardless of it's date) so I'm not really sure why I'm concerned.
