Got the photocopier sorted out, even if I did have to leave work an hour early.
The meeting was the most well attended, well behaved SAGA AGM I can remember (quorum on time, including full committee. Only started 10 minutes late. Minimum of heckiling and silly comments from the floor). It was not the longest. It was one of the most exausting.
The SAGA committee for 2004:
Pres:
codym ("POWER")
Sec:
redchristoph
(Dance my puppets, dance)
Treas: Trond (who hasn't updated his LJ since November, so I won't bother)
Pubs:
xyphoid(who can now get his own back on
lemurkat and
anarchangel23
Qtrmaster:
mrangel ("Books are bigger than money")
Whip: Leon (who doesn't have an LJ of his own AFAIK)
I'm happy with that. All of these people are experienced with SAGA/BORG and with the UCSA. Four will be students next year. The person who is experienced with the IRD is still on committee to advise if necessary. There are some up-and-comers who expressed interest who can be encouraged to get involved and groomed for 2005.
I may make some more comments later. It's late and I'm tired.
