A year ago

My brother wrapped his car around a power pole.

Also about a year ago must have been the first "Test the Nation" TV show. I remember it but don't appear to have put any details in here. In one of those odd coincidences the second one was on last night and I watched it in similar circumstances to the first. (I wasn't aware it was going to be on until 1/2 hour previous). Missed the first two sections and had to rely on the much shorter time-period as the questions were repeated when they were going through the answers to get an idea of my scores.

According to this 60-question test my age-adjusted IQ is between 106 and 117, depending on how much I compensate for questions I just didn't have time to answer in those first two sections. Mind you, the scale only goes up to 135 and it was somewhat scary that from all the numbers they had crunched from people answering via sms and in the studio, only two groups listed as having averages of 100 or higher (lots in the 90-99 range - the low end of "average").
