- confirm 32 fatalities (ie formally identified by police)
- Mayor Bob: city (entire city not just centre) should be considered closed for the next 3 days, as if it were a public holiday. Local shops may be open. Please don't travel unless necessary.
- Mayor Bob: most of the city is without water, there will be water distribution points set up
- Mayor Bob: the waste-water system is "trashed"

Can confirm Mayor Bob's comment on the wastewater system, was in the control room yesterday during the aftermath. We're making a latrine in the back yard today.

Also Robert, if you have more refugees than you can hold feel free to send some our way, as we have both power and running water

Well I think the news is behind the times, as 65 fatalities was pretty official as of 8pm -- I have the NCMC sitrep from 20:30.

The total number is still expected to be about 65, everyone seems to be sticking to that, 32 bodies have been identified and are thus official fatalities.

In fact in an interview shortly afterwards a police commander said he was allowed to say he had 38 bodies "in my morgue".
