So, the leg is a red herring

The doctor today confirmed that the actual problem is in my lower back, but beause of the nerves invoved the pain is 'referred' to my thighs. Both of them, as confirmed by the fact that the other one started acting up during the drive home.

Time for a new office chair at 'work', and an attempt to break some other bad posture habits. The chair at home needs replaced as well, based on what I've learnt today, but it can probably wait.

This afternoon I looked at chairs ranging from ~$280 to $1800+ I tink I might buy one in the $300-$400 range for now and upgrade later.

You gonna see a physio? They can work wonders, they can!

Not on the cards yet. The Dr commented on my muscles being all knotted but didn't suggest physio yet.

Guess I'm lucky he didn't check my upper back while he was about it.

sounds like you already knew you needed kneading. Thai foot massage is a great start - weird but oh sooo good.

Well, want kneading, not quite the same thing ... ;)

I know I have bad workstation posture habits and tension-inducing stress.
