Decreasing the entropy of the universe

Today I did my good deed for the week by matching up a friend in need with my parents' excess pot-plants, craft supplies and some of the accumulated pieces of furniture in the stable (free to a good home).
I return I got an afternoon out of town with good company, someone squeeing over the Prius (which hasn't happened in a while), some stewed apple and muffins, and very very tired. Soon I will shamble off to bed.

Over the past couple of days I've also managed to get some annoying work projects out of the way - yes I put time in on Saturday and Sunday and had a good run this morning, when in the mood to code, code! This afternoon may have counted as a day off, but more than likely I'll find myself facing the wall later in the week and have to take a day off.

Thanks!

One of the bamboozling things about the multiplicicty of communication choices is - what format to use to say thanks?

Text? A phone call? Email? Facebook? Card?

Instead, I'm posting on your blog. Thanks for a great afternoon out - such a treat to meet your family, and my plants certainly look luxurious, all washed and watered and clustered in a previously dim corner of the house.

Will be in touch, properly, soon....

Did I squee? How embarrassing!
