Xmas day report
Xmas day finished well with a couple of hours @ Waifs & Strays, but otherwise had ups & downs. I think I managed the day pretty well after a 6:30 start to try and finish optional presents (something went wrong) and while they were processing, spraying the roses & cleaning the shower etc.
Actual Xmas loot:
A new duvet, as requested
- my sister expressed awe at my having a super-king. I refrained from expressing angst at not having been able to make full use of it yet
Not actually Xmas loot:
A dinky little oil column heater which will fit under my desk much better than the full-size one I use to heat the computer room at present. It's been gathering dust at my parents since Grandma was moved out of her unit & into the hospital wing.
- I now own significantly more oil column heaters than I require if anyone wants one I'm sure we can come to an arrangement (possibly not at this time of year, but bear it in mind for winter)
A quite nice console/PC sound system (speakers + sub) which was surplus to BiLs requirements (came free with a console he bought a few years ago, never unboxed) which I have passed on to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zakzahn to see if it will go with his new gaming PC.

On the way out of town I pass a block from where K used to live, and that really kicked in for the rest of the trip :(

The new washing machine makes very different noises to the old one. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
