Farewelling old faithful

I took the lawnmower into the shop this afternoon, the mechanic looked it over and said it wasn't worth repairing. Easily 4x what it's worth, which is not much less than a replacement will cost, and it'd still be dangerous because the body's started to rust through.

It's given my family good service for over 20 years - is it weird to be grieving for a lawnmower?
