Improvement
I didn't sleep much. Kept slipping into a half-doze wherein I would dream unhappily about sheep and work. Much tossing and turning trying to find a position which was a little more comfortable for whichever part of my body was complaining the loudest at any given time.
By 4am the worst had passed. By the time I couldn't stay in bed any longer the shaking and nausea had vanished, leaving only the soreness. My stomach is still of two minds about food, but I have been slowly consuming.
Headache. Neckache. Backache. The 3-hour drive this afternoon is going to be really fun.
In half an hour I'll be gone again and you won't need to see my whinging for another two days.
